AK Interactive Carving Foam 8mm A5 is a rigid phenolic foam sheet for carving buildings, walls and pavements on dioramas and vignettes.
Carving Foam is a phenolic foam made for building structures such as buildings, walls and pavements. Compared with AK Interactive Construction Foam it is more rigid and resistant and has a finer grain, so it holds more precise carved detail. This sheet is 8mm thick and measures 228 x 152mm.
Cut the outline with a hobby knife, then carve into the face with sculpting tools to open doorways, score brick courses or lay out paving slabs. The foam can be combined with other types of foam, cork, plastic, metal and other materials, so a carved wall section can sit on a cork base or take plastic or metal details.
