Achtung! Cthulhu: 2d20 - D-Day The Darkest Day
$62.00
D-Day: The Darkest Day is a combined guide and campaign book for running the Normandy invasion in Achtung! Cthulhu 2d20.
Spring 1944: a vast Allied army gathers on the south coast of Britain, while Black Sun and Nachtwolfe wait behind the Atlantic Wall to sow terror and repel the invasion.
The guide covers the conventional and secret weapons, tools and equipment of both sides, signature vehicles like Hobart's Funnies, and new bio tech creatures including the Leviathan, spawn of the Deep Ones. The campaign follows in three parts: Pre Invasion missions in France, the home front and the Channel Islands; Down with the Deep Ones, a four episode arc beneath the waves; and The Darkest Day, six loosely linked missions against Professor Kraft Heimberg and Black Sun Prior Albrecht Lohmann. A portion of the book's profits goes to D-Day veterans' charities.
