Vallejo Decal Softener, reference 73.212, is an 18ml decal solution for modelers who want decals to settle into panel lines, bolts and raised details.
Decal Softener protects and smooths the decal so that it blends with the surface of the model. It also softens the decal so it adapts to surface details such as recessed lines, raised edges, screws or bolts, instead of sitting on top of them.
The number of coats needed depends on the quality and thickness of the decal. Once the decal has settled, a final varnish can be applied over it if desired.
