Bolt Action: British & Canadian Infantry (1943-45) (Plastic)

Bolt Action British and Canadian Infantry (1943-45) is a Warlord Games plastic box of 30 infantry for the late war campaigns in Italy and North West Europe.

A British infantry squad was called a section: normally ten men, split into a rifle group and a Bren group, led by a corporal with a lance corporal running the Bren. Every man carried ammunition for the Bren, and as the war went on section leaders picked up Thompsons and Stens. Canadian sections were organized the same way, and all three Canadian infantry divisions trained for amphibious landings, from Dieppe and Sicily to Normandy and the Rhine crossing.

The kit is packed with options, including helmets and Tam O'Shanter caps for Scottish or Canadian troops, and a full set of weapons: Lee Enfield No 4 rifles, the Bren light machine gun, Sten submachine guns, the 2 inch light mortar, the PIAT anti tank projector, Webley revolvers and Mills bombs, with command options. Decal sheets cover both British and Canadian units.
