Army Painter: Warpaints Fanatic Effects, Verdigris
$4.75
Warpaints Fanatic Effects: Verdigris from The Army Painter is a matt verdigris texture paint for painters adding a weathered patina to metal on their miniatures.
Verdigris is part of Warpaints Fanatic Effects, The Army Painter's range of specialist effect paints for theme and narrative. The range runs from high gloss to ultra-matt and from textured to radiating, and it covers gore, rust and glow effects as well as weathering and basing. This one delivers a patina effect with small particles, so it builds a crusted, textured surface rather than a smooth coat, and it has a matt finish.
Like the rest of Warpaints Fanatic, it is an acrylic paint with a dense pigment load in a resin base with stabilizers for smooth application. The paint tends to separate in the bottle: shake it for about 30 seconds, squeeze out a little to check it, and shake a few seconds more if it still separates.
