Army Painter: Wargamer Brush - Regiment
The everyday workhorse of the Wargamer range, for priming and basecoating whole units.
The Regiment brush has a 9.9mm tip length and keeps a solid point, and that combination is the entire argument for it. The length means it holds a serious load of paint, so you get color down fast across a squad instead of reloading every model. The point means it does not turn into a mop while doing so, which is what stops speed painting from becoming sloppy painting. It is the brush for the first two hours of an army: prime, basecoat, block in the big areas, and get twenty models to the same state before any of them get detail work. If you are painting big swathes of troops rather than single figures, this is the one that does most of the labor.
