Army Painter: Monster Chipping Brush Set
$8.99
Two oversized chipping brushes for putting scratches and scrapes across terrain, buildings and large vehicles.
Texture tells a story. A clean tank looks like a model; a tank with paint worn off its hatch edges and bare metal showing through along a fender looks like something that has been driven. The trick is that chipping has to be irregular, and a normal brush makes marks that are too even to read as damage. A chipping brush has a splayed, ragged tip that breaks the paint into random flecks as you stipple it on, which is exactly what real wear looks like. The two brushes in this set are the Monster size, so you can cover swaths of a ruined building, a rooftop, a hull or a gantry in one session rather than picking out damage panel by panel.
