AK Interactive: Winter Weathering Set
$21.99
The AK Interactive Winter Weathering Set gives modelers four products for trucks, cars, tanks and any other vehicle facing the rigors of snow and cold.
The set covers the main winter looks in one box: Worn Effects for chipped paint, Washable White Paint (Acrylic 3Gen) for temporary winter camouflage, Winter Streaking Grime for the dirty runs down the sides of a vehicle, and Snow Texture for small accumulations of snow on its surfaces.
A common sequence is to apply Worn Effects over the base color, paint the washable white on top, then work it back with a damp brush to reveal chips and worn patches of the original paint. Finish with streaking grime on vertical panels and a touch of snow texture where snow would settle. Use each product with its specific thinner; they can be used alone or combined for different effects.
