AK Interactive White Chalk Lead (Hard) is a grease based white lead pencil for modelers who want to add factory chalk markings to vehicle models.
In real factories, workers mark parts with chalk to identify them during manufacture, and those scrawled numbers and notes often survive onto the finished vehicle. This special chalky white lead lets you recreate them in scale.
It is a hard lead, which AK describes as most suitable for matte surfaces, drawing fine, sharp edged lines, scratches and inscriptions easily. Work on a matte finish, keep the tip sharp for small lettering, and apply light pressure: the lead is delicate and can break, although broken pieces can still be used.
