AK Interactive Volcanic Earth is an acrylic ground texture from the Wargame Terrains range, made for basing miniatures in volcanic environments.
Its texture and tone recreate volcanic ground. For more realism, combine it with lava areas: cut grooves into the surface while it is still fresh, then fill them with lava effects so the molten flow runs through channels in the rock.
Like the rest of the Wargame Terrains range, it is a high quality acrylic formulated to recreate textured ground quickly and easily for setting miniatures. It works in thin or thick applications, and AK recommends 6 hours of drying time, depending on how much you apply and the ambient temperature. Once dry it is fully compatible with pigments, inks, grasses and other basing products.
