AK Interactive Lunar Desert is an acrylic ground texture from the Wargame Terrains range, made for basing miniatures on cold, arid planets and moons.
Lunar Desert recreates cold environments on arid planets or moons of any galaxy. The different minerals in it catch the light, so the surface glints subtly depending on where the light falls. Apply it with a spatula or an old brush to shape dunes and craters, or lay layers of dust settled around debris. Once cured, drybrush it with light gray or white to bring out the rough texture, and clean your tools with plain water.
Like the rest of the Wargame Terrains range, it is a high quality acrylic that works in thin or thick applications. AK recommends 6 hours of drying time, depending on how much you apply and the ambient temperature, and once dry it is fully compatible with pigments, inks and grasses.
