AK Interactive: Verdigris Effect Set
$13.99
The AK Interactive Verdigris Effect Set recreates the bluish green oxidation of bronze and copper on model parts and miniatures through a real chemical reaction with the air.
Verdigris is the bluish green effect produced when bronze, copper and their alloys oxidize. This kit reproduces it in three simple steps. First brush the special acrylic paint (AK11267) onto the area where you want the effect. Once it is dry, apply the Oxidizing Agent (AK11268) over the paint. Then let the piece sit: the final effect appears over time as the oxidation develops through a natural reaction with the air.
For more subtle results, dilute the oxidizing agent with water. You can enrich the finished effect further with other modeling products such as pigments, acrylic paints and enamel effects. The kit is suitable for both scale modeling and crafts.
