AK Interactive: Track Wash (35ml)

AK Interactive Track Wash is an enamel wash made for tank tracks that also works for any kind of rusting metal effect on a scale model.

Tracks are one of the most weathered parts of any armored vehicle, and this wash gives them a convincing base of grime and rusted metal. Beyond tracks, the same tone can be used anywhere you want rusting metal: exhausts, tools, fittings and scrap.

Applied as a wash, the thin color runs into the gaps between links and around raised detail, creating shadows and picking out the shape of each part. Shake the bottle, apply with a large brush, then remove the excess with a clean brush and White Spirit so the color stays in the recesses.
