The AK Interactive Styrene Sheet Set gives you three plain white polystyrene sheets in 0.3, 0.5 and 0.7mm thickness, each 245 x 195mm, for scratch building and conversions.
The set covers the three thin gauges most used for detail work: 0.3, 0.5 and 0.7mm (0.012, 0.020 and 0.026 in), each sheet 245 x 195mm (9.64 x 7.68 in). The surface is plain, with no texture, in opaque white polystyrene.
Thin styrene is the basic material for panels, armor plates, hatches, shims and small boxes. Mark out with a pencil, score along a steel rule with a hobby knife and snap the piece off; the thinnest gauge can also be cut with scissors and curved gently. Parts sand smooth, bond with standard plastic cement and take primer and paint like any kit part.
