AK Interactive: Streaking Grime General
AK Interactive Streaking Grime is an enamel weathering color for painting realistic dirt streaks and grime effects down the panels of any model.
Shake well before use. With a fine pointed brush, draw irregular vertical lines from the upper parts of each side, then let the paint dry for about 10 minutes. Next take a flat brush moistened with White Spirit and swipe it with little pressure over the streak to soften the effect and create a natural look. The color is well suited to imitating streaking dirt over Dark Yellow or gray paint schemes.
A note from the maker: the color formula of this reference has changed. It now shows a slightly green tone in the bottle, but it remains primarily brown once dry.
