AK Interactive: Sponge P800-1000
$3.99
AK Interactive Sponge P800-1000 is a pack of six high durability, flexible sanding sponges for modelers sanding and polishing kit parts.
Each pack holds six flexible sponge sanding pads rated at P800 to 1000 grit. The sponge bends easily, so the abrasive follows curved surfaces instead of flattening them, and you can cut a pad down with scissors or a knife to fit a narrow area or make a small sanding tool.
P800 to 1000 is a fine grit in AK's sponge range, which runs from P400 to P3000. It refines a surface after coarser sanding, removes the marks those grits leave and smooths primer before paint. Work through the grits in order, coarsest to finest, and each one removes the marks left by the one before.
