AK Interactive: Sponge P3000
$3.99
AK Interactive Sponge P3000 is a pack of six high durability, flexible sanding sponges for modelers sanding and polishing kit parts.
Each pack holds six flexible sponge sanding pads rated at P3000 grit. The sponge bends easily, so the abrasive follows curved surfaces instead of flattening them, and you can cut a pad down with scissors or a knife to fit a narrow area or make a small sanding tool.
P3000 is the finest grit in AK's sponge range, which runs from P400 to P3000. It is the last sanding step before a gloss coat or polish, removing the faintest scratches from clear parts or smooth painted surfaces. Work through the grits in order, coarsest to finest, and each one removes the marks left by the one before.
