AK Interactive: Sponge P1200-1500
$3.99
AK Interactive Sponge P1200-1500 is a pack of six high durability, flexible sanding sponges for modelers sanding and polishing kit parts.
Each pack holds six flexible sponge sanding pads rated at P1200 to 1500 grit. The sponge bends easily, so the abrasive follows curved surfaces instead of flattening them, and you can cut a pad down with scissors or a knife to fit a narrow area or make a small sanding tool.
P1200 to 1500 is a very fine grit in AK's sponge range, which runs from P400 to P3000. It refines an already smooth surface, levels primer or paint and starts the move from sanding to polishing. Work through the grits in order, coarsest to finest, and each one removes the marks left by the one before.
