AK Interactive: Soft and Smooth Sponge Sandpaper SET 4 Units
$7.99
The AK Interactive Soft and Smooth Sponge Sandpaper Set holds four super flexible sanding sponges in 400 and 800 grit for comfortable sanding of model parts.
These are sponge backed abrasives, so they fold and conform to curves, recesses and rounded surfaces without breaking, where a stiff stick or flat paper would only touch the high points. The sponges are jam resistant, which keeps the abrasive cutting instead of clogging with dust.
AK picked 400 and 800 as the most useful grits for common tasks: 400 for smoothing and 800 for refining. The color of each sponge identifies its grit, blue for 400 and green for 800.
