AK Interactive: OIF & OEF - US Vehicles Weathering Set
$15.99
The AK Interactive OIF and OEF US Vehicles Weathering Set gives modelers of modern American armor a base color, a wash and a streaking effect matched to vehicles from Iraq and Afghanistan.
Modern American vehicles in Iraq and Afghanistan have a particular look, and this set is designed for them, though it also suits other armies and periods with similar colors. It includes a 3Gen acrylic base color, CARC Tan 686A (FS 33446), one of the most common American colors in desert zones, faithfully reproduced and lightly softened to compensate for scale effect.
Paint the vehicle in the base color, then weather it with the two effect products: the wash to settle into detail and recesses, and the streaking effect for dirt runs down the plates. Together they get results very close to real vehicles.
