AK Interactive Iron Effect is a 35ml special acrylic paint loaded with iron microparticles that rust for real when activated by the AK Oxidizing Agent.
Unlike a painted rust effect, this paint oxidizes naturally. Brush it onto the part where you want corrosion and let it dry. Then apply the Oxidizing Agent (AK11268) over it: the iron microparticles react on contact and the rust develops as the piece rests.
It must be used in combination with the Oxidizing Agent, which can be diluted with water for more subtle results. Control the strength of the rust by how much agent you apply and how strongly it is diluted, then enrich the finished effect with pigments or enamel weathering products if you wish.
