AK Interactive Hollow Tube 6.00mm diameter x 350mm is a pack of three hollow round polystyrene tubes for pipework, exhausts and scratch built detail.
Each tube is 6.00mm in diameter and 350mm long (0.236 x 13.78 in) with a 0.7mm wall. Because the tube is open through its length, a cut end reads as a real pipe rather than a solid rod, which matters on exhaust stacks, ducting, industrial pipework and tank fittings.
Cut the tube with a razor saw, or roll it under a hobby knife blade, which keeps the end square and stops the wall crushing. Clean up the end with a file or sanding stick and join it to other styrene or plastic kit parts with plastic cement. Prime before painting and the tubes take paint like any plastic kit part.
