AK Interactive Gravel and Sand Fixer is an alcohol based adhesive for locking earth, gravel, small stones and sand onto miniature bases and dioramas.
Traditional white glue tends to leave a plastic looking finish on the surface and does not spread well through loose material. This fixer works differently: it spreads quickly and is absorbed by the stones and sand, which saves a lot of time when you are fixing down rubble or a gravel layer.
Apply it with a paint brush or an airbrush, and speed up drying with a hairdryer or another heat source. It dries matte, although on smooth surfaces it can leave a light satin mark; a coat of matte varnish removes it. Tools clean up easily with alcohol.
