The AK Interactive Fine Sanding Stick is a 600 grit precision stick for smoothing model parts after shaping, ready for polishing or primer.
At 600 grit, this stick follows the coarse (150) and medium (240) sticks in AK's precision sanding and polishing range. Its job is smoothing: taking out the scratches left by the shaping sticks so seams, filled gaps and cleaned mold lines disappear under paint, before an optional buff with the extra fine stick.
AK uses a quality abrasive that gives these sticks a longer working life, and each grade is colored so you can pick out the right grit at a glance.
