AK Interactive: Exhausts & Stains Weathering Set
$29.99
The AK Interactive Exhaust Stains Weathering Set is an Air Series kit of four pigments and one wash for exhaust stains, soot and rust on aircraft models.
Exhausts are a prone area for rust and dirt accumulation, and this set focuses on the stains they leave. With the four pigments and the wash, you can achieve many different finishes for the exhausts of airplanes from every era, from a light smoke trail to a heavily burnt jet engine.
Use the wash to pick out detail and darken the exhaust area, then build texture with the pigments: smoke for soot trails, burnt jet engine for heat discoloration, and the two rust tones for the corrosion that gathers around exhaust stacks. The pigments are well suited to recreating these textures.
