AK Interactive: Dry Brush
$8.99
The AK Interactive Dry Brush is a single brush for the drybrush technique on miniatures, scale models and terrain.
Drybrushing works by removing almost all of the paint from the bristles on a paper towel, then passing the brush lightly back and forth across the surface. Color only catches on raised edges and texture, so fur, chainmail, stonework, weathered panels and textured bases come up quickly with a natural highlight.
The motion is hard on bristles, which is why most painters keep a separate brush for it. A dedicated dry brush takes that wear and leaves your detail brushes with their points intact.
