AK Interactive: Cork Sheets - Fine Grained - 200 X 300 X 1-2-3mm (3 Sheets)
$9.99
AK Interactive Cork Sheet Fine Grained 200x300x1-2-3mm is a pack of three natural cork sheets for building bases, groundwork and terrain on dioramas and vignettes.
Cork is the bark of the cork oak, a tree found mainly in the western Mediterranean. This pack gives you three fine grained sheets measuring 200 x 300mm, labeled 1-2-3mm by the maker, so you have more than one thickness on hand for a project.
Fine grained cork has a tight, even surface. It cuts cleanly with a hobby knife and bonds with PVA glue, so sheets can be stacked to raise ground levels or build stepped terrain. A torn or broken edge gives a rough, natural face that reads well as earth banks or rock layers once primed and painted.
