AK Interactive: Cork Sheets - Fine Grained - 200 X 290 X 6mm (1 Sheets)
$9.99
AK Interactive Cork Sheet Fine Grained 200x290x6mm is a single thick sheet of natural cork for raising diorama and vignette bases and building up terrain.
Cork is the bark of the cork oak, a tree found mainly in the western Mediterranean. This sheet measures 200 x 290mm and is 6mm thick, with a fine grain that gives a tight, even surface.
At 6mm, one layer adds real height to a base without much weight. The sheet cuts with a hobby knife and bonds with PVA glue, so you can cut it into plateaus, stack pieces into rising ground, or break an edge by hand to get a rough, natural face for banks and rock layers. Prime it before painting and adding groundwork.
