AK Interactive: Cork Sheet - Coarse Grained - 200 X 290 X 6mm (1 Sheet)
$9.99
AK Interactive Cork Sheet Coarse Grained 200x290x6mm is a single thick sheet of natural cork for raising bases and building rough terrain on dioramas and vignettes.
Cork is the bark of the cork oak, a tree found mainly in the western Mediterranean. This sheet measures 200 x 290mm and is 6mm thick, with a coarse grain that shows larger granules on the surface.
At 6mm, one layer adds real height to a base. Cut it with a hobby knife into plateaus and slopes, fix it with PVA glue, and stack pieces where the ground needs to climb. Breaking an edge by hand leaves a rough, uneven face that suits rocky banks and outcrops. Prime it before painting and adding groundwork.
