AK Interactive Bronze Effect is a 35ml special acrylic paint that reacts with the AK Oxidizing Agent to grow a genuine verdigris finish.
Verdigris is the bluish green effect produced when bronze, copper and their alloys oxidize. Brush this paint onto the piece where you want the effect and let it dry. Then apply the Oxidizing Agent (AK11268) over it: the paint reacts naturally on contact, and the verdigris develops over time through the reaction with the air.
It must be used in combination with the Oxidizing Agent, which can be diluted with water for more subtle results. Both products also come together in the Verdigris Effect Set (AK11265). The finished effect can be enriched with pigments, acrylic paints or enamel effects.
