AK Interactive Brass Pipes 2.4mm is a pack of two 20cm high quality brass tubes for modelers who need fine, rigid detail parts in kits, architecture pieces and scenery.
Each tube is 2.4mm in diameter and 20cm long, enough to cut several short parts from each length. Brass holds a crisp, straight line where plastic rod would flex or snap, which makes it a good fit for gun barrels, antennas, hydraulic and fuel lines, railings and exposed piping on vehicles, buildings and dioramas.
Cut the tube to length with a razor saw, or roll it under a sharp hobby blade, then dress the ends with a fine file. AK notes it can be fixed with cyanoacrylate glue, two component adhesives or by soldering. Prime the brass before painting so acrylics grip the metal.
