AK Interactive: Aircraft Engine Oil
$5.99
AK Interactive Aircraft Engine Oil is an enamel mixture for oil stains and spills on aircraft parts, tuned to the lighter color of aviation oil.
The oil in aircraft differs from the oil in other vehicles: its color is lighter, so a general oil effect can look wrong on an airplane. This product is made for that look, and it imitates the viscous, glossy appearance of real oil stains. Use it on mechanical parts, on the horizontal surfaces of many aircraft, or on the floor of an airfield or workshop diorama.
Being enamel, it can be blended with the rest of the AK enamel colors and it is diluted with White Spirit. Apply small spots and runs where oil would leak, then soften the edges with a brush moistened with White Spirit. It is also included in the Aircraft Engine Weathering Set (AK2000).
