AK Interactive: 3G Vietnam Green and Camouflage Colors Set
Six 3rd Generation acrylics for the uniforms worn by the US Army during the Vietnam War.
Vietnam is a green war on film and a much more varied one on the table. Officers and troops wore different shades of plain green fatigues, and over the course of the war three distinct camouflage patterns appeared beside them: tiger stripe, the woodland pattern, and the leaf camouflage that turned up on helmet covers. This set carries the colours for all of it. Dark green, gunship green and a light green uniform tone cover the plain fatigues from officer dark to troop light, and mud brown, field drab and grey green supply the breaking colours the patterns need. That is enough to paint a whole mixed unit, which is what a Vietnam force usually looked like, rather than a squad in matching issue.
