AK Interactive: 3G IDF Uniform Colors Set

Six 3rd Generation acrylics for painting Israeli Defence Forces soldiers, from the earlier wars through to the present day.

The IDF has worn two quite different uniform families over its history, a green one and a sand one, and a figure collection that spans decades needs both. This set carries them together. On the green side there is a medium green base with an olive green for the lights; on the sand side a canvas tone base with ocher khaki for the lights and field drab for the shadows. Brown black is the sixth, used to darken either family without turning it grey. Because real uniforms vary with sun, dust and washing, the six are made to be mixed with each other, which is how you get a multitude of intermediate shades and stop a squad from looking like it came out of the same box on the same day.
