Six 3rd Generation acrylics for French Army uniforms across the theatres of both World Wars.

The French Army changed uniform colour completely between 1914 and 1940, and then wore several variations of the later scheme in different theatres, which is why a single bottle of green will not carry a French collection. This set handles it with a green uniform base plus a canvas toned light to work up from it, then field drab and ocher khaki for the colonial and North African variations where sun and dust pushed the same cloth toward yellow. The last two are the leather: a dark brown for belts, boots and ammunition pouches, and a mud brown for the scuffs and worn edges that stop leather looking like painted plastic. Together that covers a poilu, a 1940 infantryman and a colonial soldier out of one box.
