AK Interactive: 3G French Army Desert Sand
$4.99
French Army Desert Sand, the desert tone for French military vehicles from AK Interactive's AFV range.
Every army that fights in the desert settles on its own sand, and the differences between them are exactly what a modeler notices when two vehicles sit side by side on a shelf. A French vehicle painted in a sand borrowed from another army reads subtly wrong even when the build is perfect. This is AK's sand for French Army vehicles in desert livery, a starting point you can then fade, dust and weather toward the reference photographs you are working from.
The AFV label marks the colors AK has chosen for painting military vehicles of every era, the specific tones used by different armies in different periods. The 3rd Generation formula is non toxic, very highly pigmented, and made to airbrush cleanly when thinned rather than clogging, while covering well under a brush. The cap shows the color for quick identification.
