AK Interactive Desert Soil is natural soil with small gravel for representing arid terrain on 1/35 scenes, dioramas and miniature bases.
Because it is real soil mixed with small gravel, it gives dry ground the uneven grain and scattered stones of a desert floor without any sculpting. AK sizes it for arid terrain in 1/35 scale, and it works on any type of base from 28mm up to larger scales.
To fix it, brush white glue or Gravel & Sand Fixer (AK118) over the area, sprinkle the soil on, and tap off the excess once the glue has taken hold. Build heavier deposits in dips and against rocks, and keep a thinner layer on open ground so the texture varies across the scene.
