AK Interactive: 1/35 Breuer IV Rail Shunter
$55.99
The AK Interactive Breuer IV Rail Shunter is a 1/35 plastic model kit of the German light railway shunting locomotive, complete with a track section and a worker figure.
The Breuer IV was the fourth production model of the light shunter that H. Breuer & Co developed from 1913. Designed in the 1920s, around 120 are estimated to have been built in Germany until 1943, with more made under license in Italy, Austria, Finland, Denmark and Czechoslovakia. Updates during production and service explain the differences between preserved examples, some of which stayed in use until the 1980s.
The kit's optional parts let you depict several of those modifications. A 19 cm long section of railway track and a Reichsbahn worker figure are included, giving the shunter a base to sit on.
