Bolt Action: StuG III
$40.00
The Bolt Action StuG III is a Warlord Games plastic kit that builds either the StuG III Ausf G assault gun or the StuH-42 infantry support howitzer.
The Sturmgeschutz III was a well armed and armored vehicle on the tried and tested Panzer III chassis. Crewed at first by the artillery as a mobile howitzer, it went through many variants and was one of the few German armored vehicles to serve through the whole war on every front. Good frontal armor and a low profile made it ideal for ambush, and by the end of the war StuGs had amassed more kills than any other German vehicle.
Build it as the StuG III Ausf G with its powerful 75mm gun and an MG42 for close defense, or as the 10.5cm Sturmhaubitze 42 to support infantry with high explosive. The vehicle can also be used in Achtung Panzer, Warlord's game of close quarters tank combat, with rules in the Achtung Panzer rulebook.
