Army Painter: Wargamer Brush - Detail
$8.75
A size 0 brush with a fine tip, for delicate highlights on the smallest parts of a miniature.
The Detail brush sits one step up from Insane Detail, and that step matters more than it sounds. A size 0 still comes to a fine point, but it carries enough paint behind that point to run a highlight along an edge without reloading halfway, which is exactly what you want on chain mail, a sword edge, a face or a piece of trim. Below this size you are placing dots; at this size you are drawing lines. It is the brush most painters end up using for the majority of their finishing work, with the finer sizes kept for the handful of spots that genuinely need them. The Wargamer range is The Army Painter's line built specifically for miniature painting rather than general scale modelling.
