Warpaints Air Metallics: Plate Mail Metal is an airbrush-ready metallic acrylic paint from The Army Painter, made for painters who airbrush wargaming miniatures and want to skip mixing and thinning.
Every Warpaints Air paint is pre-mixed and airbrush-ready straight out of the bottle, so there is no thinning step: shake the bottle for 30 seconds, check a drop and load the cup. The two steel mixing balls already inside help bring settled pigment back together. The Army Painter makes the range as a water-based acrylic from ultra-filtered, vibrant pigment.
Plate Mail Metal is developed in the Colour Triad System, where each Warpaints Acrylics color has a matching base and highlight, which speeds up highlighting and zenithal shading. It can also be brushed on, with an extra coat or two to cover.
