AK Interactive: Wash For Green Vehicles (35ml)

AK Interactive Wash For Green Vehicles is a dark brown enamel wash made to pick out detail and shadow on green painted vehicle models.

The wash is one of the oldest and still one of the most used weathering techniques in scale modelling, and this one is tuned for green colored armor. Its dark brown tone runs into panel lines, around rivets and along raised detail, darkening the recesses so the shapes of the model read clearly without changing the green base color.

Shake the bottle well, then apply with a large brush over the areas you want to define. Because it is an enamel, the excess stays workable: lift it away with a clean brush moistened with White Spirit or an odorless thinner until only the shading in the recesses remains.
