AK Interactive Styrene Strip 5.00 x 5.00 x 350mm is a pack of four opaque white polystyrene strips for scratch building, conversions and terrain projects.
Each strip is 5.00 x 5.00mm in section and 350mm long (0.196 x 0.196 x 13.78 in), a solid square profile to build from. At this size the strip makes chunky beams, posts, framing and structural members for buildings, vehicles and scenery.
Polystyrene cuts cleanly with a hobby knife or razor saw, and the cut ends can be filed or sanded to fit. Join the strips to other styrene or plastic kit parts with plastic cement, which softens both surfaces and welds them into one piece. Prime before painting and the strips take paint like any plastic kit part.
