AK Interactive: Sponge P2000
$3.99
AK Interactive Sponge P2000 is a pack of six high durability, flexible sanding sponges for modelers sanding and polishing kit parts.
Each pack holds six flexible sponge sanding pads rated at P2000 grit. The sponge bends easily, so the abrasive follows curved surfaces instead of flattening them, and you can cut a pad down with scissors or a knife to fit a narrow area or make a small sanding tool.
P2000 is a polishing grit in AK's sponge range, which runs from P400 to P3000. It takes out the fine scratches left by earlier grits and brings clear parts or smooth paint toward a polished finish. Work through the grits in order, coarsest to finest, and each one removes the marks left by the one before.
