AK Interactive Silver Spring 4mm is a pair of silver steel compression springs for modelers who need convincing pipes and hoses on scale models.
Each pack holds two high quality steel compression springs, 15cm long and 4mm in diameter, in a silver finish. A tightly wound coil reads as a ribbed, flexible hose once it is fitted to a model, which is exactly the job AK designed these for.
A spring on its own wants to stay straight, so AK recommends running a wire through the center. Bend the wire to the route you want and the spring follows it and holds the shape. Trim to length with side cutters and fix the ends in place with cyanoacrylate glue.
