AK designed these burnishers for shaping putty alongside its Carving Tools, with five pieces carrying different tips so the precise profile is always at hand. Press, smooth and push the putty into shape, then change tips as the work gets finer.
They are useful well beyond putty. Press a tip over tin foil laid on a soft surface to form vehicle headlights, burnish small pieces of leather for belts and straps on large scale models, or press them into a scene to simulate shrapnel impacts and small craters.
