AK Interactive: Scriber
The AK Interactive Scriber is a hardened stainless steel tool for tracing new panel lines and recovering lost ones on scale models.
The tool is made of hardened steel rated 57 HRC, and its exclusive design is shaped for pulling comfortably along a panel line. It handles resin, PVC, plastic, wood and similar materials with ease.
To use it, apply a little pressure and draw the tip across the surface to cut a shallow groove. It creates new lines, and it restores lines that were damaged or removed while sanding a seam or filling a gap. For an accurate result, guide it along a slightly flexible metal ruler or a hard plastic tape rather than working freehand. Several light passes cut a cleaner groove than one heavy one, and they keep the tip from jumping out of the line.
