AK Interactive: Slimy Grime Light
AK Interactive Slimy Grime Light is a light green enamel effect for moss and slimy surfaces caused by damp, in the paler tone they take once dried by the sun.
Moss and algae give buildings, ships and abandoned vehicles a greenish look wherever water and humidity sit. When that growth dries in the sun it turns this light green. Ships, boats, ports, wooden doors and many amphibious vehicles show the effect, so study real photographs and use them as a reference on your models.
Draw shapes with it around details, then fade it with a clean brush moistened with Enamel Thinner so it blends into the surface. Combine it with Slimy Grime Dark to show fresh growth and dried growth side by side, which reads far more naturally than a single green.
