AK Interactive: Cork Sheet - Coarse Grained - 200 X 300 X 2mm (2 Sheets)
$7.99
AK Interactive Cork Sheet Coarse Grained 200x300x2mm is a pack of two natural cork sheets for textured groundwork, bases and terrain on dioramas and vignettes.
Cork is a very useful material for modeling, and the degree of compaction and the thickness decide how it handles. AK Interactive offers its cork sheets in the most useful thicknesses. This pack holds two coarse grained sheets, each 200 x 300mm and 2mm thick.
The coarse grain shows larger granules on the surface, which gives a rougher texture than fine grained cork. Cut the sheets with a hobby knife and fix them with PVA glue, stacking layers where you want the ground to rise. Torn or broken edges give a natural, uneven face for banks and rock layers once primed and painted.
