Blue Moon Acrylic Wash from AK Interactive is an 18ml brush wash for adding depth to blue, light blue, turquoise and green base colors without darkening them too far.
Blue Moon defines crevices and folds and adds volume while keeping the original tone. Use it on clothing, tunics, light armor and energy cloaks in blue, or over white and light gray with blue undertones to build depth without turning them dark. It suits wings, banners and fabrics you want to keep cool looking, and elven miniatures, spaceships or warriors in blue armor.
Like the rest of the AK acrylic wash range, it is odorless and dries slowly to a matte finish. The pigment flows into recesses to form shadows, and the slow drying gives you time to guide it with the brush and correct any buildup that gravity pools. Let it dry, then paint your highlights on top.
